Outline of Our Education System

We combine all the three Educational Philosophies in our educational System.

1 - Philosophy of naturalism: It Says

Education is the process of sublimating natural instincts. Rousseau believed that education is process Of development of the child is joyful, rational, harmonious, balanced and natural person. Society is meant for man, not man for society. Man is born good, but he is corrupted by the society so development of the child should be from within.

2 - Philosophy of Realism: It States

Education must begin with respect for the authority of the teacher and should end with self-discipline. Education should have core subject matter that will acquaint the pupil with the basic physical and cultural structure of the word. Curriculum assumes the central part in their educational philosophy.

3 - Philosophy of Idealism: It Says

The aim of education should be the full realization of the potentialities of man and to make every person his/her highest, trust self. Plato believed that the 'culture of the mind' in one word is the end of education. The pupils should realize the importance of the highest values of truth, beauty and goodness.

Modern education as it is today, is based on the work of these three men.

1. Pestozzi : the prophet

We feel the spirit of Rousseau in him. According to him the deepest source of development of education lies in the experience of love which a person has as a child in relation to his parents. Positive experience in every child tends to create confidence and bring forth positive reaction.

2. Frobel :

The great educationalist of Germany was the creator of kindergarten. According to him, education should ultimately be union with God. He emphasized on play, self-activity, social participation and creativity.

3. Herbart:

The thinker is associates with the famous Herbartain steps.

According to him, the teacher should not be stereotype. His education system ends in ethic.

For our tiny tots we are going to adopts Maria Montessori’s system of education. She called the school as children’s house.

According to her, education should bring to light the hidden abilities of the child three types of exercise should be given to the child.

1. For practical day-to-day life.
2. For sense training.
3. For reading, writing arithmetic (3R)
